NASSAU

Nassau is undoubtedly the most popular and busiest cruise port in the Bahamas but certainly in the whole of the Caribbean.
The yellow and blue stripes of the Bahamian flag represent the sandy beaches and surrounding ocean, while the black triangle represents the unity and determination of the people to develop the land and sea. Nassau, and The Bahamas in general, therefore declare their vocation for tourism right from the flag.
Nassau, the capital of The Bahamas, is located on the island of New Providence and is connected by a bridge to Paradise Island, another popular Bahamian destination.
It is so busy that you don't expect Nassau to be a quiet little town on a Caribbean island, but a bustling commercial center with duty-free shops and hundreds of bars and restaurants where you can have a drink and a meal at any time. If your cruise ship stops here, don't miss the aquarium at the Atlantic hotel's famous resort at all. But as much as this vibrant town center is a cruise visitor's first impression, most look forward to beach adventures at massive hotel and leisure complexes such as Atlantis or boat adventures ranging from dolphin borders to booze cruises.
Nassau's central location, just off the coast of South Florida, is one of its main advantages, making it an easy mini-cruise port for ships passing along the Caribbean islands.
